The design objective was to develop a concept for the hotel complex “Rococco Retreat” in Goa, India.

The key challenge of the project related to the mountainous landscape relief: a trapezoidal-shaped 6,000 sq.m. land with 40% height differences. This imposed certain restrictions and increased the requirements for the architecture of the project, its engineering components and the design concept of the landscape itself.

The solution was found by gradation of the volumes, locating the administrative, public and residential areas at different levels, united by green and water spaces, numerous walking paths and stairs, as well as a serpentine path for electric cars.
